I hate to make this post all about me, but I have to be honest, I think the cards I drew today are referring to my returning to college and today being the first day of my online class.

Pink Lotus Fairy is advising me to carve out quiet time to recharge my batteries between work, school, and social life, whereas Poe seems to be directly referring to my online classes. Though Pink Lotus Fairy on its own refers to regaining balance, I believe both cards in combination are also about finding and maintaining balance. The cards are also about being flexible and embracing change with little resistance, and being able to peacefully navigate said changes.

My Tarot Decks: Black Cats Tarot

I love this deck. As a cat lover, I just can’t help but love it. Like some of my other decks, I couldn’t help but want this deck as soon as I saw it. The fact that it’s a Lo Scarabeo deck makes it even better, in my opinion. I don’t usually see Lo Scarabeo decks that I don’t like.

My Tarot Decks: The Radiant Rider-Waite

There came a point after my friend moved to Washington State that I realized I probably wouldn’t be getting back the Tarot deck that I had let him borrow. I was more or less indifferent toward it, and thus went out to buy a new Tarot deck so I could continue learning.

That deck was the deck I will be discussing today: The Radiant Rider-Waite Tarot.

My Tarot Decks: Tarot of the Mermaids

So far this has got to be my favorite Tarot deck ever. Why? Because I love mermaids. I always have and always will. My obsession with mermaids started when I first saw The Little Mermaid (I must have been about four at the time), and I never grew out of that obsession. These days my love of mermaids manifests as owning—and swimming in—four mermaid tails (one of which is pictured below), not to mention owning a mermaid Oracle deck with another pre-ordered, and reading Tarot with a mermaid-themed deck. In short, if something is related to mermaids in any way, then it must be mine!
