Oracle Card for December 3, 2014: "Eclipse Mermaid" from Lucy Cavendish's Oracle of Shadows and Light.
I'm not surprised that the first card I drew from this deck was this one! This seems to be a card of changes, and possibly even new beginnings as it is card ten in the deck.
Ten reduces to one (10=1+0=1), which is itself a number for new beginnings. Ten is the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one, something also seen in Tarot decks.
That being said, this card is similar to Death in the Tarot. The changes you experience may be bigger changes in your life, but they will help you grow. Your overall outlook may change as well--you may see things differently but you will be stronger and wiser for it. Don't fight it, but welcome it. This may be something you've needed.
